A few weeks ago you were able to send questions to our Formula Renault drivers, and you were able to win a rear wing endplate.
We made the questions and answers during the Monaco GP weekend, and the drivers Christian Lundgaard, Alex Peroni and Max Defourny were able to sign the rear wing endplate that you could win.
Not all the questions were included in the video!
Here are some that were left out:
Max Defourny: Have you ever felt that you were faster than the car you were driving?
* It was a bit of an unclear question, but we all thought that it was all about experiencing the sensation that the car feels slow. So when you are used to a fast car, and you step back in a slow car than yes, it feels like you are faster than the car you are driving.
Alex Peroni: How do you prepare mentally for a race weekend and is there any difference after a crash or do you simply forget about it?
*Preparing start early in the week with my engineer and you start to study onboard and some simulator work, but not really “mental” stuff.
And you have to analyse a crash to see if you can learn anything from it, but if not then forget it and move forward.
Max Defourny: Do you think the Halo was a good idea?
* I rather don’t have it, because it changes the whole concept of formula cars, but it is part of the “evolution”, and we have to deal with it.
Christian Lundgaard: Do you have a dance move to impress women?
* No, I don’t dance! 🙂
Alex Peroni: After a crash are there any procedures you have to follow?
* If it was a hard crash injured or not then you have to do a medical check, and the things they check are really basic things. After contact with any car, you usually have to go to the stewards and the one that caused the problem normally gets a penalty.
Thank you for watching and see you next time!
