Podium for Roberto Merhi!

Podium for Roberto Merhi!

It looked like that it was going to be a long race. Until the clouds came and it started to play!

A little bit of rain started to drop at the start of the race. That didn’t matter for Roberto Merhi! He had a solid first lap and gained six positions. In the meanwhile, Ralph was gaining back positions after he almost stalled his car during the start of the race.

Ralph was at position fourteen when suddenly his car switched off. The reason for this electronic problem is still unclear. The rain got heavier, and some of the drivers started to change their tyres for rain tyres. After all, it wasn’t the best solution. It stopped raining, and the track got dryer while Roberto was driving on the 5th position. The two driver in the front of him still had to do their pitstop, but the gap was too small to keep Roberto behind them. Finally, Roberto Merhi finished the race with a fantastic 3rd position considering he started 14th.
