Race one started under wet conditions. Conditions that Niko Kari and Richard Verschoor prefered.

Verschoor had a good start he moved up to 14th position. Niko struggled more he had too much wheelspin at the start and had to shortcut the chicane in turn one. Devlin improved a lot during lap two. He moved up from P19 to 15th.

Verschoor moved up to P13 in lap 5. The conditions didn’t improve much, but Niko and Richard both kept closing the gap to the guys in front of them.

Kari went wide in the entry of turn 4 What cost him two positions. Verschoor profited from it and moved up to 10th place.

VSC went on in lap 17 and a 5 sec penalty for Devlin. He out-braked himself and hit the driver in front of him. Devlin kept fighting for p13 after the incident, but he wasn’t able to overtake the position.

In the last lap, Pulcini dropped back out of the top 8. Verschoor profited from that and took over the 8th position. Kari 9th and Devlin 12th at that moment.
