Hours of sun and hours of rain during the second Formula 3 test in Barcelona. It was a good mix of weather and track conditions with the most rain in the afternoon session on Tuesday. A lot of drivers still had 3 or 4 sets of new slick tyres on the second day because of the rain on the first day. Most drivers used them during the morning session on the second day and did race distances in the afternoon.
“It was for me the first time at this circuit. It was nice to have both dry and wet conditions as well. The more time I spend in the car how more confidence I get with it. I was more confident with the car in dry conditions compared to the wet conditions. I guess because it was a car with more horsepower than I am used to drive with in rain conditions. I think it was a good test I learnt a lot, and now I am looking forward to the next test in Hungaroring.” – Liam Lawson
