Race one

To have a great race, it all starts with a good qualifying. Victor Martins got pole position with a lap time of 1:42.566 during the first qualifying on Saturday morning. Lorenzo Colombo got the 3rd fastest time and had to start 3rd in the first race while Amaury Cordeel did really well with his 5th fastest lap time and started the race 5th.

The race started behind the safety car under wet conditions. The drivers were driving for twelve minutes behind the safety car until the race control decided to stop the race with a red flag after one-third of the race was completed. The spray of the cars was too much, and there was not enough visibility for the drivers. The race didn’t restart, and because of this, all drivers that scored points will only get half of the points. To get the full amount of points the race had to get stopped after 75%, but that didn’t happen. Victor Martins and Lorenzo Colombo went both on the podium to collect their trophies.

Race two

Victor Martins had a good start and was able to keep his 3rd place. Lorenzo Colombo had a good start too and moved up to the 6th place, but Amaury Cordeel starting from 5th was very unlucky. He got hit on his right rear wheel in turn one and span with some other drivers. The safety car had to go out, and the track got green again with 25 minutes to go.

The safety car went out again after an incident in turn two with 15 minutes to go. The track got clear again with 10 minutes to go. Victor Martins added pressure on Smolyar but wasn’t able to overtake him. Lorenzo Colombo had the same issue and struggled to pass. Eventually, it was Victor Martins on the podium with a 3rd position and Lorenzo Colombo 6th and a DNF for Amaury Cordeel
