The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) was formed by a merger between the former Formula Renault Eurocup and the Formula Regional European Championship.

This championship gathers the best European talents to have them compete in the same cars on prestigious European circuits such as Spa, Zandvoort and Monaco.

FRECA is the ultimate proving ground before advancing to Formula 3.
