For the final round of the Eurocup-3 championship, we went to Barcelona. It turned out to be an eventful weekend, where we eventually finished the first season of Eurocup-3 with P2 in the driver’s championship and P2 in the team’s championship.
We had 4 cars in the top 10 for Qualifying 1 with Joss leading the MP pack in P3, Sebastian O. following him in P4 and Mari behind in P5. Bruno managed to grab P7. Sebastian G. just missed out on the top 10 qualifying in P13. The race was rough for the entire team. Mari and Joss were in a tough battle for P3 which ended in heartbreak after they made contact on the penultimate lap which ended Joss’s race. Mari managed to continue and managed to finish in P3. Sebastian O. finished right behind Mari in P4. Bruno got the best Rookie result and finished in P6 overall. Sebastian G. maintained his position and finished in P13.
Just like Saturday, we qualified with 4 cars in the top 10. Joss was leading the pack again in P3 with this time Bruno behind him in P5 who was followed by Mari in P6. Sebastian O. qualified in P8. Sebastian G. settled for P11. Joss managed to get to the podium this time during the race finishing in P3. Mari, Bruno and Sebastian O. finished all behind Joss in P4, P5 and P6. Sebastian G. kept his position and finished the last race of the season in P11.
That was it for the first-ever season of the Eurocup-3 championship. We proudly look back with 6 wins in total and a combined amount of 766 points scored by all drivers.
