After a week-long break after the Silverstone GP, we were off once again to Round 10 of the FIA Formula 2 championship, where this weekend we raced in Budapest, where Dennis won his second Sprint Race of the year!
Free practice on Friday morning saw Jehan end the session in P7, with Dennis following in P11. Qualifying later in the day saw everyone setting banker laps as the chance of rain during qualifying was significant. We ended up Qualifying with Jehan in P8 and Dennis in P9. This meant Dennis would be starting on the front row in P2 for the Sprint Race, with Jehan on the second row in P3!
The Sprint Race started with Dennis immediately taking the lead on lap 1 turn 1, after which he led every lap of the race and climbed back on the top step of the podium for the second time this year! Jehan lost a couple of positions but was able to bring some great points home in P5 during the Sprint Race.
In the Feature Race on Sunday, Dennis was able to make up two positions and end the race in P7, with Jehan, unfortunately, losing a couple of places and finishing just outside the points in P11.

Our next round of FIA Formula 2 will be held in Spa-Francorchamps at the upcoming weekend of July 28-30.
