These water bottles are made by Holland-based company Join The Pipe. They are fighting global plastic issues but are also setting up water projects in developing countries. They are funding themselves, by using the proceeds from the sold bottles and refill stations. Up until now, Join The Pipe has realized over 300 projects and donated more than 500,000 bottles. Projects can be City Clean-Ups and the install of water pumps in villages, which provide people clean and drinkable water. Every bottle or refill station sold thus contributes to a water project and a plastic-free environment. If you want to know more about the projects Join The Pipe is investing in, or want to know more about them, you can visit their website here.
You can also find the water taps from Join The Pipe in multiple cities all over Europe. You can fill your bottle for free with their filtered drink water.
The black bottles are made of sugar cane / Green PE, the orange ring is made of rubber. Every bottle is BPA-free and dishwasher-proof (up to 65 degrees).
