René Lammers will remain with MP Motorsport for a second season in the F4 Spanish Championship in 2025. Having made his single-seater debut with MP Motorsport in 2024, the young Dutch talent is focused on building on the experience he gained during his rookie campaign. The 16-year-old from Zandvoort is the second driver to be announced in MP’s multi-car line up in the Spanish series.
Schwartz’s tie-up with MP follows on the back of the young American’s part campaigns in Spanish F4, Italian F4 and Euro 4 in 2024, but he made his single-seater debut as early as 2022, when as a 12-year-old he embarked on a late-season charge in the Lucas Oil School of Racing Formula Car Championship, nailing a shock win at Homestead and a podium at Sebring. Despite his young age, Schwartz went on to win the title a year later. Meanwhile in the USF Juniors series, he claimed three podiums, a pole and a fastest laps. Moving on to the USF2000 championship in 2024, Schwartz bagged a podium and an impressive string of points finishes before coming over to Europe.
“I’m absolutely thrilled at the prospect of teaming up with MP Motorsport for my first full-season European campaign”, said Schwartz. “The Spanish championship is among the most competitive Formula 4 championships in the world, and MP have proven their worth in the series by claiming numerous wins and titles. I’m ready to take on the best young talents in this year’s championship and look forward to helping the team maintain its stronghold on the series. This is going to be a great season!”
“We are truly excited about Hudson joining our Spanish F4 line-up for 2025”, said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport’s team principal. “I don’t think we have ever had a 15-year-old in our cars with so much previous single-seater experience to add to their karting prowess. Hudson has been making waves in the American junior formulae and we are convinced that he will be able to transfer his abilities to the European circuits.”
Before making his single-seater debut, Schwartz made a name for himself in karts, having started karting at the age of four. Continuing in karts into 2023, he took multiple wins and podium finishes in the SKUSA KA100 national series, the IAME Grand Nationals and the X30 Junior GoPro Karting Challenge.
