Gładysz renews ties with MP Motorsport for second FIA F3 campaign in 2027

Polish FIA F3 front-runner Maciej Gładysz will return to MP Motorsport for a second attempt in the Grand Prix-supporting category. The 18-year-old from Tarnów was a familiar face in the MP family in the 2024 and 2025 seasons and has decided to renew his ties with the Dutch team as he heads into a new season of the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Gładysz was one of the surprises in this year’s championship, jumping straight into FIA F3 from a campaign in the Eurocup-3 to record a pair of points finishes on his debut weekend. He then went on to record his first F3 victory with a resounding performance at Silverstone, where he stormed the field to rise from eighth on the grid to first at the chequered flag. More points-scoring runs included a two fifths, two sixths, an eighth and a tenth, before an end-of-season run of bad luck blighted his championship chances, leaving him 12th in the final standings. At MP, the Polish youngster aims to build on the promise he’s shown in his debut F3 season, returning to the Dutch team after a year away. Gładysz will join Matteo De Palo and a driver yet to be confirmed in MP’s three-car line-up.

“I’m extremely pleased to rejoin the MP family for my second go at FIA F3”, said Gładysz. “I have happy memories of my years with the team, especially my debut season in single-seaters in which I became a race winner in only my third weekend. MP have come up very strong in the final part of the F3 season to clinch third in the teams standings, and with a year’s experience under my belt, it’s my goal to help the team transform that run of form into more wins in 2027. I can’t wait to get started!”

“It’s an absolute joy to welcome Maciej back into the fold”, said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport’s team principal. “We recorded six race wins and 16 podiums in the two seasons we spent together, and I see no reason why we shouldn’t add any more to those. Maciej has been truly outstanding on his FIA F3 debut and for many in the team, he is a known quantity, which will help us hit the ground running in our preparation for the new season.”

In 2024, Gładysz made his single-seater debut with MP Motorsport, claiming three podiums in the Formula Winter Series before adding three wins, eight podiums, three pole positions and a fastest lap in his first and only attempt at F4 Spanish glory. Having finished third in the championship, Gładysz progressed to Eurocup-3 level straight away, wrapping up the preceding E3 Spanish Winter Championship with two wins, five podiums, two poles and a fastest lap, before adding another win in the main series and stepping up to FIA F3 in 2026.
