Leading single-seater outfit MP Motorsport and 2023 Richard Mille Shootout winner Mattia Colnaghi have added fresh title success to their championship-winning journey, as the Italo-Argentine driver grabbed the 2025 Eurocup-3 crown at Jérez this weekend, having already won the F4 Spanish Championship at his first attempt in 2024. At the same time, MP claimed the series’ teams championship.

17-year-old Colnaghi took his Eurocup-3 title in style by romping to victory in the second race of this weekend’s Jérez round. With one round still remaining on the calendar, both driver and team crowned another impressive season in which the Monza resident racked up five wins, ten podiums, four pole positions and five fastest laps. Colnaghi and MP have already agreed to the next stage in their successful partnership, as the new Eurocup-3 champion will graduate to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP next year, while representing the Red Bull Junior Team.

“From winning the Richard Mille Shootout in 2023 and getting the chance to drive for this epic team, it’s been really great working with MP Motorsport”, said a jubilant Colnaghi. “Spanish F4 started as a year of learning – from the first time I set foot in the car, I was improving and improving, before being able to challenge and eventually win the championship. This year, it’s been a hectic season – it would be a lie to say it was easy. But at the end of the day we came out on top, winning the championship with one round to spare. It’s a pleasure to be working with the team again in 2026, now in Red Bull colours, and I’m already looking forward to driving a Formula 3 car for the first time!”

“Everyone at MP is immensely proud of Mattia’s latest accomplishment”, said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport’s team principal. “We have been on an incredible journey in the past two years, and Mattia has truly become part of our racing family. This year, his racing has been outstanding once again – in fact, he’s only become better since we took the F4 Spanish title last year. We can’t think of any other way than to continue our voyage together, and so it’s only logical that MP and Colnaghi will be back as a team in FIA F3 in 2026.”

Remarkably, on the weekend of Colnaghi’s title and 2024 Richard Mille Shootout winner Ean Eyckmans claiming his debut F4 victory at Jérez, the 2025 shootout was also decided at Jérez. Its winner will be announced shortly. While Colnaghi and Eyckmans continue to prove that Richard Mille Shootout winners have a great future with MP ahead of them, the latest winner is set to make his full-season single-seater debut with with MP in 2026.
