MP Motorsport and ITQ enter into multi-year performance partnership

MP Motorsport has signed a multi-year agreement with international cloud service provider ITQ. Not only will the logo of the rapidly growing IT specialist appear on most MP Motorsport racing cars, ITQ will also be the title sponsor of the ITQ Performance Programme, a new training programme for MP drivers in karting, Formula 4, F1 Academy and Eurocup-3.

The ITQ Performance Programme will start this week and will contribute to the physical strength and mental resilience of drivers in the four championships. During their training camp, the drivers will stay at the Apart Hotel Delden, a hotel in the east of the Netherlands that is fully equipped to accommodate elite sports teams. At Pro-F in Enschede, sports physicians, physiotherapists and psychologists will work with the young drivers, applying a range physical and medical tests, various training sessions and personality analysis. The programme will be followed up with online coaching and a series of workshops, with progress checks at two points. A second training camp will take place later in the season.

The performance partnership between ITQ and MP will also be visible on all MP cars in the FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, FIA Formula Regional, Eurocup-3 and F4 Spanish championships. One car – in F4 Spanish next year and in F3 and F2 in subsequent seasons – will be given a full ITQ livery. ITQ will also be visible on MP Motorsport’s team kit and merchandise. Furthermore, the two organisations will collaborate on a joint content calendar on their (social) media channels. In addition, both parties plan to organise joint events that contribute to their relationship management.

“We want to be a true technology partner to MP Motorsport,” said Johan van Amersfoort, Chief Evangelist at ITQ. “That means that in the coming period, we will be examining MP’s IT challenges and looking at where we can offer added value in areas such as security, AI and performance. The partnership is a two-way street, because we can challenge the physical performance of our colleagues in challenges set by MP. We are also striving for additional visibility in countries where people are not yet very familiar with ITQ. MP Motorsport’s race calendars fit in well with this, as they partly reach our existing markets and partly move beyond them.”

“ITQ recognises much of its own DNA in motorsport,” says Lucas Rutten, marketing manager at ITQ. “We too perform under constant pressure, with small improvements that make a big difference. Just like in motorsport, our success depends on teams of specialists who trust each other. Through data analysis, they gain new insights and improve every day. The same applies to MP. That is why ITQ has become MP Motorsport’s official Performance Partner: not a traditional sponsorship role, but a partnership based on a shared performance mindset. Even our corporate colour of orange and our slogan ‘Fueled by Passion’ are a perfect fit for MP.”

“We are delighted to welcome ITQ as our Performance Partner,” said Maarten van Wesenbeeck, Marketing Manager at MP Motorsport. “Both companies strive for top performance and operate in fast-moving environments – that alone makes us a good fit. In motorsport, we also fully identify with ITQ’s four core values: passion, quality, authenticity and ownership. The MP training programme, which starts this week, is therefore rightly named after ITQ. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration and hope to build on it in the coming years.”
