MP Motorsport reaches three-year agreement with Borncut as Official Talent Development Partner

Leading single-seater team MP Motorsport has signed a three-year agreement to partner with Borncut, a Danish-based specialist in portioning technology. Borncut will act as MP’s Official Partner in its Talent Development programme.

In 2026, the Borncut logo will be visible on Oliver Goethe’s FIA Formula 2 car, Mattia Colnaghi’s FIA Formula 3 car, Ean Eyckmans’ Eurocup-3 machine and the team’s F2 and F3 trailers, while MP and Borncut will work on a shared content promotion calendar for their respective (social) media channels, additionally focusing on MP’s F1 Academy activities. The two parties have further agreed to enhance their partnership through a series of business events at Grand Prix events, at the karting track and at MP’s workshop in Westmaas in the Netherlands, all aimed at strenghtening their customer relations. Added to that, the Danish firm will act as the team’s Official Talent Development Partner, supporting MP’s drivers on the various steps of the single-seater ladder to train and compete to be the best.

“We are honoured to team up with MP Motorsport, as it shares with Borncut the same vision and drive to be the best in class”, said Ingmar Baars, CEO at Borncut. “Borncut is the pioneer in portion cutting for the meat, poultry and fish industry. In this industry, speed and accuracy can often times make the difference. Having the fastest portioning machines on the market with unprecedented accuracy is Borncut’s hallmark. This is why Borncut connects well with the world of motorsport, because we enjoy speed in every single form. As engineers, we understand how the smallest of details can make a difference. Partnering with MP gives us the opportunity to follow many of the exciting drivers. We have already shared many enjoyable moments on the race track, both with employees and customers who love the thrill and excitement of the sport.“

“We are immensely pleased to announce Borncut as our Official Talent Development Partner”, said Maarten van Wesenbeeck, marketing manager at MP Motorsport. “The precision and performance of their portioning technology is literally cutting-edge, reflecting an innovative mindset that fits well with our aim of developing and accelerating motorsport talent. We are looking forward to working with them on our mutual growth and welcome Borncut into our expanding partner community.”

Borncut was formed in Denmark in 2016 by two pioneers who developed their first portion-cutting machine in 1992 and have led the future of portioning ever since. In 2024, Dutch entrepreneur Ingmar Baars took a majority shareholding to lead Borncut into its next phase. Today, Borncut reaches a global market with a modular, system-based approach to portion-cutting, offering highly efficient, accurate and reliable solutions for seafood, meat and poultry portioning.
