MP Motorsport reaffirms ties with Giusti for second year in FIA F3

Leading Dutch single-seater outfit MP Motorsport has retained Alessandro Giusti for his second attack at the FIA Formula 3 Championship. The young Frenchman, who will turn 19 this Wednesday, will stay with the Dutch team following a highly promising debut season in the Formula 1 Grand Prix-supporting category.

Giusti’s early announcement for the 2026 season comes after the Williams Racing Academy driver rounded off his first year in FIA F3 with a strong tenth place in the final standings. Among no less than 13 points finishes, highlights included a third place at Barcelona, a second place at the Red Bull Ring and a fourth in the streets of Monaco. Giusti joins current Eurocup-3 championship leader Mattia Colnaghi in a three-car team for MP Motorsport, with the third driver to be announced at a later date.

“I’m extremely happy to stay with MP Motorsport for a second season in FIA Formula 3”, said Giusti. “I feel really comfortable in this team, having built a very good relationship over the past year. I feel confident for the future as I found a family there. We will keep working hard during the winter to come back even stronger in 2026. I can’t wait to be back behind the wheel already!”

“It’s wonderful to be able to announce Alessandro for 2026 straight after our 2025 Formula 3 season ended at Monza this weekend”, said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport’s team principal. “His debut year in F3 has shown all the hallmarks of a quick learner who is set to shine in the all-important second season in the category. This year, we have built a strong foundation with Alessandro and I look forward to seeing our work bear fruit in 2026. Along with Mattia, we now have two immensely talented young drivers on our FIA F3 squad for next season that will help us to retain our position in the top ranks of the teams championship.”

French 2022 Formula 4 champion Alessandro Giusti arrived in FIA F3 on the back of four very strong seasons in single-seaters. A two-year campaign in French F4 convincingly netted him the title in 2022, after which his FRECA debut season produced three wins, four podiums, two poles and three fastest laps. In his second season, with more wins in the bag, he finished at an extremely close fourth position in the championship. Alessandro Giusti is supported in his racing career by French entrepreneur Alexandre Mulliez.
