
After a small break from racing and solid points scored during round 2 in Montreal, F1 Academy returned to racing in Great Britain at the Silverstone Circuit. With MP Motorsport as a team sitting in P4 of the teams championship, as well as Nina and Alba sitting in the top ten of the drivers championship, round 3 granted the driver and team even more opportunity to display their skill and hard work to climb up the points.

Taking to the track for an early start for Free Practice on an early Friday morning.
Fastest of the team, Nina completed 15 laps of the circuit with a final fastest time of 2:02.881, putting herself in P3 of the session, only 0.241 seconds slower than the fastest driver of the session.
Just a second off Nina, Esmee and Alba were sequentially P12 and P13 in the session.
Esmee completed 16 laps and logged a fastest time of 2:03.876, and Alba completed 15 laps with her fastest time being 2:03.899.
Overall, a great start for Nina, with the weekend ahead for all drivers to exhibit their pace at the circuit.
Free Practice Results:

The F1 Academy Drivers took to the track for their singular qualifying session of the weekend at the Silverstone circuit.
Nina was eager and out on the circuit first of all drivers; she exhibited great pace early on in the session, improving times every lap and held onto P1 for most of the first half of qualifying.
Sitting at the top of the MP Motorsport drivers, Nina secured a fastest lap time of 2:02.410 with a P7 final placement.
With a fastest qualifying time of 2:02.684, Alba locked in P13 for the qualifying session, while, finally, only 0.261 seconds slower than Alba, Esmee qualified in P15 with a fastest time of 2:02.945, unfortunately unable to secure a faster time as she spun on her final lap.
With two races ahead, the MP Motorsport drivers had the opportunity on the weekend ahead to gain points and valuable places.
Qualifying Results:

The MP Motorsport drivers in F1 Academy took to the track for the Reverse Grid Race for their first of two races for the weekend at Silverstone.
Nina started on the front row in P2, while Alba was in P13 and Esmee in P15. There were immediate yellow flags at the start due to some cars stalling, including Esmee, who fell to P17 as a result.
At the launch, Nina remained in P2 and held her position strongly against pressure being put on her behind by Ella Lloyd. Alba propelled herself in the opening lap, rising to take P11.
Following on lap 2, Alba overtook the weekend's Wild Card Chiara Bättig and Payton Westcott, snatching up P9.
Later on, making her way up the grid after her unfortunate start, Esmee on lap 4 overtook Kaylee Countryman for P16, and on lap 6 squabbled with Mathilda Paatz and overtook for P15.
On the same lap as her teammate, Alba spent her time battling back and forth with Chiara Bättig, only to lose her position at the end of the lap, falling to P10.
Continuing her climb up the positions, on lap 7, Esmee overtook Ella Stevens for P14. With a pending penalty for Payton Westcott ahead, Esmee, after crossing the flags, was promoted to P13 and then P12 after the race.
In a solid drive, Nina finished the race on the second step of the podium with a solid and consistent drive.
Reverse Grid Race Results:

The MP Motorsport drivers got ready to drive in the final race of round 4 of the 2026 F1 Academy championship.
Nina, the highest of the MP Motorsport drivers, started in P7, with Alba in P13 and Esmee in P17.
On the launch, all the drivers were able to make up positions, with Nina climbing to P6, Alba to P11 and Esmee to P14.
At the start of lap 2, Nina lunged on the inside of Rachel Robertson to take P5. Meanwhile, a collision between Rafaela Ferreira and Ella Stevens occurred, which resulted in yellow flags and a safety car. Esmee, who was right behind the contact, moved quickly to avoid the incident and moved up to P12 as a result. Also benefiting from the collision in front, Alba was promoted to P9.
The race went green again at the end of lap 4; on the launch, Esmee overtook Payton Westcott, moving up to P11. On lap 5, Nina took advantage of a fight between Ella Lloyd and Emma Felbermayr and made a move to overtake the Rodin Motorsport driver for P5 before being immediately on the back of Emma Felbermayr, putting on pressure.
By the end of lap 5, Alba overtook Natalia Granada for P8 but unfortunately lost the position to her a lap later, falling to P9 again.
On lap 7, Alba fell down the order to P11, beginning a battle between her and Esmee. Although the battle was short, Alba came up to the back of Payton Westcott by lap 10, challenging her for the position. On the penultimate lap, Alba made the move on Payton Westcott, snatching up P10 before crossing the finish line.
In a solid final race, Nina was strong and consistent in her drive, climbing up to P4 and holding that position to the flag. Meanwhile, Esmee made good progress to climb up the grid, crossing the line in P12 but after serving a five-second penalty for a safety car infringement dropped back to P15.
Race 2 Results:

Leaving Silverstone behind, the MP Motorsport team came away with a podium finish for Nina Gademan in race 1 and gained multiple points from both races.
The drivers performed well, with Nina and Alba consistently in the points for the entire weekend, while Esmée exhibited great improvement, making good overtakes in both races.
Overall, Nina climbed to P3 in the drivers' championship while the team remained in P4. With the next race in Zandvoort almost two months away, the team can continue improving to perform their best for round 4.
