After a point-scoring weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, the MP Motorsport drivers enter another week of racing at the historic Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom.
Sitting comfortably in the midfield in P6 in the teams' championship, the weekend ahead provided the team more opportunity for improvements and points.
In the first session of the Formula 3 weekend, the MP Motorsport drivers were first on track for the 45-minute free practice session.
Starting strong, in the first half of the session, Tuukka, Mattia and Alessandro exhibited a fast pace with consistent lap times at the top.
Overall, by the end of the session, Alessandro was fastest of the MP drivers in P12 with a fastest lap time of 1:46.917.
Only 0.089 seconds off his teammate in P13, Mattia secured a fastest lap time of 1:47.006 with both drivers completing a solid 18 laps of the circuit.
Meanwhile, only completing seven laps in the session, exhibiting strength with his start, Tuukka ended up in P23 with a 1:47.652 fastest lap time.

Ready for the races ahead, the MP Motorsport drivers took to the track for Friday's qualifying session for round 5 of the Formula 3 season.
The drivers had decent pace throughout the session, although on such a competitive track, Alessandro was fastest of the MP Motorsport drivers in P10 with a fastest lap of 1:46.089, putting himself in a good start for the sprint race.
Following, Mattia qualified in P14 with a fastest lap time of 1:46.301. Finally, with a good initial pace, Tuukka qualified in P20 with a fastest lap time of 1:46.517.
Qualifying Results:
On a sunny morning in Silverstone, the sprint race for round 5 of the 2026 Formula 3 season went away.
At the launch, all the MP Motorsport drivers were able to hold onto their grid start positions with Alessandro in P3, Mattia in P14 and Tuukka in P20.
Momentarily, Tuukka on lap 5 lost his position to Brando Badoer, but was promptly able to reclaim it. A lap later, Tuukka was able to overtake José Garfias for P19, beginning his climb up the positions.
On lap 8, Alessandro began to be pressured by James Wharton for his position, and was overtaken and fell to P4.
Not long after, he also lost the position to Noah Strømsted, falling to P5. Meanwhile, Tuukka continued his rise up the grid to P18, while Mattia fell back to P15.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Alessandro lost more pace as the race continued. Alessandro fell further down the places, falling to P6 on lap 9, then P7 on lap 10, before falling to P11 by lap 12, at which point he maintained that position to cross the finish line.
Mattia's position stayed stagnant throughout the final half of the race, driving clean and maintaining a P15 finish. In similar circumstances, Tuukka for the final laps of the race maintained P18, only overtaking Taito Kato for P17 in the final sector of the race.
Sprint Race Results:
The drivers raced for the second time at Silverstone for the Formula 3 feature race on Sunday morning.
For MP Motorsport, Alessandro started in P10, Mattia in P14 and Tuukka in P20.
On the opening lap, Alessandro had fallen to P12, while Tuukka had lost a position momentarily before reclaiming P20 before the end of the first lap. On the following lap, Mattia was down to P15 after a side-by-side battle alongside Jin Nakamura.
At the midway point of the race on lap 11, Tuukka was overtaken by Enzo Deligny and was down to P21 again. But on lap 13, other drivers began to fall down the order, which prompted Tuukka back to P20.
On lap 15, Alessandro was up to P11 ahead of Fionn McLaughlin. Two laps later on lap 17, Mattia had fallen to P17 while Tuukka had climbed up to P18, enabling the teammates to battle one another.
The following lap, Tuukka overtook his teammate, claiming P17 and then a further position of P16. Meanwhile, Mattia fell down the order to P19. By the end of lap 18, Ricardo Escotto had stopped on track, bringing out a safety car that stayed out until the 21st and final lap of the race.
On the final lap restart, Alessandro overtook Yevan David for P10 for the final race of the weekend, and after penalties post-race, dropped to P13.
Meanwhile, Mattia on the launch climbed to P18 before falling down the order to P21, but after the race was promoted to P20. In the final sector, Tuukka made a final launch for positions, coming across the line in P14, and after penalties were distributed post-race, came home in P12.
Feature Race Results:
The team at MP Motorsport left round 5 of the Formula 3 season with room for improvement, sitting in P7 of the teams' championship.
After solid free practice pace, the drivers were able to make up good positions on track, with Alessandro initially in the points after the feature race, only offset by a post-race penalty.
Looking forward to the next race weekend at the end of July in Belgium, at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the team have a positive mindset to move forward and improve.
